Looking at countries’ performance during the COVID-19 outbreak, social distancing was the immediate response in many countries to confront the pandemic. Thus, the telecommunications and digital services sector played a vital role in countries’ ability to remotely manage their economic and vital sectors and maintain businesses efficiently.
