• LatAm: most funded online food delivery companies 2022

As of August 2022, investments raised by Colombia-based on-demand delivery service Rappi amounted to about 2.3 billion U.S. dollars. In addition to the one billion dollar investment received by SoftBank in 2019, the unicorn has since raised a total of 950 million dollars. For its part, Brazilian competitor iFood had obtained almost 592 million dollars in funding by that date. Launched in early 2020 amid the pandemic, Venezuelan startup Yummy has since received funding of nearly 84 million U.S. dollars.
