There are many well-known brands and retailers in the UK market, some of which generate billions of pounds in revenue, including high street retailers, such as Primark and Next, and online shops, like ASOS. In recent years, growth in internet sales of clothing has been especially high, accelerated by national lockdowns and store closures in 2020. By 2025, e-commerce is forecast to account for 60 percent of total apparel sales in the UK.
